Baghdad, Sep. 07 (MNA) � Iranian Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs arrived in Baghdad on Sunday afternoon for an official visit.


Mahmoud Goudarzi Iran�s Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs arrived in Iraqi capital�on Sunday afternoon to meet with his Iraqi counterpart and a host of other officials.

During his visit, Mahmoud Goudarzi is scheduled to sign, with his Iraqi counterpart, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on joint cooperation.

Bilateral negotiations in different fields of sports, joint cooperation in international and regional arena and exchanging experiences are among other axes of talks.

The first visit of an Iranian sports minister to Baghdad�is in response to the visit made by Iraq's Minister of Youth and Sports Abdul Hussein Abtan on October 8, 2014.
