TEHRAN (FNA)- Parliament Speakers of Syria, Kuwait and Georgia in separate messages congratulated their Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani on the attainment of the recent nuclear agreement between Iran and the world powers.
In his message, Syrian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Jihad al-Laham called the Iran-Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) deal a great diplomatic and strategic victory for Iran.
Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq al-Ghanim also said that the historical agreement between Iran and G5+1 made everyone happy because it would bring regional nations closer to each other and speed up efforts to create stability in the region.
Georgian Parliament Speaker David Usupashvili, meantime, expressed his pleasure, and said, “The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was a great success for all.”
“I strongly believe that the agreement is an important step towards international peace, cooperation and progress,” the Georgian parliament speaker added.
