Missile restrictions to be lifted with sanctions removed

TEHRAN, Sep. 03 (MNA) Senior nuclear negotiator told Assembly of Experts restrictions on Irans missile program will be lifted when sanctions are removed.Seyed Abbas Araghchi provided the Assembly of Experts concluding session with a report of the JCPOA, Irans nuclear program and other issues.

He ensured the clerics in the Assembly that the negotiating team had remained loyal to the redlines of the system during the talks; we worked hard and succeeded in fixing the unalienable right of the country to enrichment which is a grave redline for the system; enrichment would never be suspended even for a single day; on the other hand, the 5+1abandoned their initial demand that Iran should have a zero enrichment program, Araghchi toldAssemblysmembers; we will hopefully move to industrial level enrichment by the next 15 years; as the text of JCPOA clearly states, the industrial and commercial enrichment is recognized by powers and the R and D will move toward staggering 1 million SWU (Seperative Work Unit) with exploiting the capabilities of IR6 and IR8 centrifuges, he told the morning meeting of the Assembly on Wednesday.

Removing economic sanctions in the first step is the second redline; with sanctions removed, no restrictions would affect our missile program, and restrictions will be lifted in a gradual manner as well; the Islamic Republic of Iran, overall, has achieved what it was seeking in the negotiations, while protecting its national glory, imposing its will on the powers, Araghchi asserted. More importantly, the UN has recognized as well, through a resolution, Irans rights to peaceful nuclear program; in return, however, we accepted some restrictions to our program, albeit long but not permanent limitations, he added.

Araghchi also ensured that more inspections would not be a source of concerns, unless they seek other hidden motives; to meet the issue, we have made necessary arrangements with the military centers to minimize the possibility of abuse, he concluded.
