The head of Iran�s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization has said that Hajj pilgrimage this year is being performed as the Islamic world faces immensely important conditions, adding, �The extremist line of thinking seeks to paint a violent image of Islam which is a religion of compassion, and Hajj offers a great opportunity to promote kindness and Muslim unity.�

Saeed Ohadi said, �Hajj pilgrims who don similar robes and have similar intentions and objectives at heart are all equal,� expressing hope the remarkable potential of the pilgrimage of a lifetime can be fully tapped.
