Iranian freestyle wrestlers rank 2nd

TEHRAN, Aug. 31 (MNA) Iranian national teen aged free style wrestlers gained 2 silver and three bronze medals in Bosnia 2015 World Top Teen Free Style Tournament to rank world 2nd top team next to the Russians.

On the last day of the games played from Aug. 25-30 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Iranian team?s Hamid Parasteh and Ahmad Mahdizadeh gained bronze medals respectively and with a total of two silver medals and 4 bronze medals, Irans team could rank 2nd in this tournament while Russia became the champion.

The Iranian top teen freestyle wrestling team thus gained the games silver cup and medals.

The American and Azerbaijani teams ranked 3rd and 4th world top teams.

Amir Parasteh claimed a bronze medal in the 46kg weight category after beating American Dylan Demilio.

Hamed Rahimi ranked 5th after being defeated by Gevorg Abraamian from Ukraine in the 54kg.

In the 63kg, Ahmad Mehdizadeh snatched a bronze medal by defeating Vasilii Diaconu from Moldova.

Due to an injury, Hamed Manafian also ranked 5th after being defeated by Ahliman Guliyev in the 76kg.

World top teen freestyle wrestling tournament was held on Aug. 25-30 2015 in the Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
