The Fifth Digital Marketing and Tourism Industry Conference was held on Friday at the International Convention Center in Milad Tower, Tehran.

Boasting a stellar lineup, including Beatriz Oficialdegui of Destinia.com and Duncan Alexander, former marketing director at Dubai-based Amadeus IT Group, the conference aimed to help Iranians tap into the lucrative and fast growing online travel market.

The conference will move to Mashhad (August 30), Tabriz (Sept. 1) and Bandar-Abbas (Sept. 3). The Financial Tribune will publish a report on the event in the coming days. Among rare events in Iran, the conference is organized by Kaspid and Azarak Holding Group, two online marketing firms, and sponsored by 30 companies relevant to the tourism industry.
