Tehran, August 30, The Iran Project – Iran’s members of parliament will submit the impeachment plan of oil minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh to the board of directors, says the head of the parliamentary committee on oil, gas and petrochemicals.

The head of the parliamentary committee on oil, gas and petrochemicals, Shokr Khoda Mousavi, said on Sunday that the plan for impeaching Iran’s Oil Minister which has already been signed by 45 MPs will be submitted to the Majlis board of directors.

Referring to the mismanagement of the ministry, improper appointments, transferring offshore drilling rigs to Chinese and Indian companies, and failure to take the necessary measures regarding oil sale as some of the reasons for impeaching the oil minister, Mousavi said Zanganeh should no longer remain in this post.
