FM spokeswoman: Foundations of Iran foreign policy not to change

Tehran, Aug 26, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Marziyeh Afkham said that the foundations of the Iranian foreign policy is not to change.

Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, she said the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has stressed that all inroads for the US to infiltrate into the country after the nuclear agreement should be blocked.
She said all statesmen adhere to unconvertible policies the country follows in foreign policy areas and safeguarding national interests and security.
She stressed that it is not the case in Iran that officials could follow a fluid and changing foreign policy but rather they have to work based on the main principle of mutual respect and lack of interference in countries’ internal affairs.
