He made the remarks here while talking to reporters after inspecting an exhibition of the latest achievements of the Iranian Ministry of Defense and those of the Armed Forces.
He said only those countries which enjoy enough deterring power and are of high capabilities could ensure peace for their nations.
The President said his government is making every effort to promote the point.
President Rouhani further termed as 'massive' all achievements made by the Ministry of Defense in the fields of missiles, drones, satellites and marine and submarine related technologies.
He said war and aggression are imposed on weak countries and they could never sustain their security.
Iran will continue its present trend in defense areas to maintain its power and safeguard its security.
