Tehran, Aug 21, IRNA � Iran is ready to give powerful response to any type of aggression, Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said on Friday.

Speaking before Tehran's Friday prayers' sermons, he noted that Iran has no plan to attack any country inside or outside the region and Iran's military power is quite defensive.
Armed forces will give swift and crushing response to any type of air, ground and sea attack, Dehqan added.
Iran would continue its progress in the defense industry to produce more advanced defensive equipment, he underlined.
Defense minister said that Iranian nation would defeat all enemies' plots by unity and following the guidelines of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
