Private sector to undertake all unfinished projects

The government plans to delegate all unfinished projects to the private sector in view of the tight fiscal budget this Iranian year (started on March 21), says First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri.
He made the remarks during a meeting with Mazandaran Province officials on Monday, where he urged authorities to spend their allocated budgets sparingly and to exert every effort to fight corruption, IRNA reported.
He said all ministries have already prepared plans for supporting private sector investments, emphasizing the government's objective of promoting the role of the private sector in the domestic economy.
As part of his one-day visit to Mazandaran, the first vice president inaugurated a number of industrial projects including a wood and paper recycling plant as well as a sturgeon breeding center, which is said to be the biggest of its kind in the whole Middle East.
