Arrival of trainloads of tourists in Iran not hampered by Turkey insecurity

Growing insecurity in Turkey which has seen two recent attacks on Iranian trains in the country has had little impact on arrival in Iran of luxury tourist trains, nor has it dampened the enthusiasm of foreign tourists visiting Iran, said the manager of travel agency in charge of Golden Eagle Danube Express.

He said, “The emerging insecurity has only prompted a change in arrival time of these trains in Iran,” adding that the next trainload of foreign tourists will cross the border into Iran in mid-September.
