Russia expects that the plan of actions on the Iranian nuclear program will come into force in the coming week, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik)�� Russia expects that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of�Action on�Iran's nuclear program will enter into�force in�the upcoming weeks, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Monday.

"We are pleased with�the adoption of�a Joint Comprehensive Plan of�Action, and expect that the plan, as�provided by�the UN Security Council-approved resolution, will come into�force in�the coming weeks," Lavrov said at�a joint press conference with�his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif.

The Russian foreign policy chief confirmed his working visit to�the Islamic Republic of�Iran.

"We hold regular foreign ministerial meetings. [Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif] confirmed the invitation to�visit Tehran, which I am pleased to�take advantage of�within the agreed timeline," he told reporters.
