Berlin, Aug 15, IRNA -- A rally in Berlin -- dubbed 'Global Day of Peace for Iran' -- on Saturday voiced strong support for the Iranian nuclear agreement, saying it promoted global peace, according to IRNA.

Chanting 'Be brave, choose peace', supporters of the Iranian nuclear accord gathered at Berlin's historic Brandenburg Gate, holding up placards backing the Iran nuclear deal.

According to a press release, thousands of people gathered today in major cities across the world to show support for peace and prevent another war in the Middle East.

Claiming to be a grassroots movement, dozens of volunteers organized the rallies in over 100 cities in 20 countries in four continents.

The global rallies come in the wake of an intense campaign by the Zionist lobby to kill this deal and the prospect for lasting peace.
