Turkey's FM: Postponement of Zarif visit to Turkey natural

Ankara, Aug 13, IRNA Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Thursday that postponement of his Iranian counterpart visit to Turkey is natural.

He said that foreign ministers are sometimes forced to change their programs because of intensive working schedule and added that Mr. Zarif delay in visit is in this framework.

Cavusoglu made the remarks in an interview with Turk News Network TV, which was broadcasting live.

He said that he talked several times with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif either over phone or presently and added that the two countries have relations with each others and dialogues are continuing in different levels and continued that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan recently discussed issues of mutual interests by President Hassan Rouhani over phone.

Concerning Turkey's principle stances toward Iran, Cavusoglu said that when Turkey was a temporary member of the UN Security Council voted negative to the council resolution against Iran.
