Tehran, Aug 7, IRNA � Deputy oil Minister for International and Commercial Affairs Amir Hossein Zamani-Niasaid that European states are extemely keen to return to Iran immediately.

He added that extensive presence of the delegations in Iran will usher a new chapter of cooperation between Iran and their respective countries.

Asked which of three European delegations arrived in Tehran following the nuclear deal was more serious in talks and is going to return to Iran sooner than others, he said that all three German, French and Italian delegations were enthusiastic to return to Iran at the earliest.

During meetings with three European delegations, Iran stressed the need for transfer of technology and capital to the country, he said, noting that investment and involvement of the European companies will not confine to Iranian market; but rather regional market can host them, and Iran can play a significant role in the field thanks to its capabilities.

Referring to recent meeting of the Iranian and Italian officials, Zamani-Nia said that Iran and Italy's industries like their culture and public interests are closely related.

He further noted that the Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni has supported expansion of cooperation in all fields and, describi'ng their presence in Iran as a new start of mutual cooperation.

Noting that the Italian companies have presented various proposals for cooperation, Zamani-Nia said that Italian firms are scheduled to talk with their Iranian counterparts to conclude contracts immediately after removal of sanctions.

Following Iran-5+1 Group nuclear deal on July 14, four European officials including Italian foreign and economic development ministers arrived in Tehran since then.

Earlier, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel and EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini visited Iran.
