Zanjan, Aug 3, IRNA � Vice-president and head of Management and Planning Organization Mohammad Baqer Nobakht underlined that Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has ordered government to fulfill 8 percent growth.

'The leader has ordered an average 8 percent growth in all areas in the 6th development plan,' Nobakht said, addressing a group of businessmen and entrepreneurs in the city of Zanjan on Monday.

He pointed to the government's efforts to improve the country's economic conditions, and said, 'Stabilizing the country's ailing economy was the first measure taken by the government of President Hassan Rouhani.'

Nobakht pointed to the rise in economic growth and reduction in inflation rate in less than two years, and said, 'This amount of activity is not satisfactory and we cannot be satisfied with a three percent growth and 14-percent reduction of inflation rate.'
