The head of the Palestinian Prisoners' Committee has said that the Zionist regime has placed more than 230 Palestinian children under house arrest in Al-Quds Province over the last three years.

Issa Qaraqe further said that the regime has turned the families of these young children into their guards, with some of them not allowed to leave the house even for receiving medical treatment.

He went on to say that the house arrest has taken a mental toll on these children and their families, adding that the families of those children who violate the house arrest have to pay hefty fines.
