Istanbul, July 30, IRNA � Ankara-Tehran train was subjected to a terrorist attack on Thursday, but fortunately the attack left no casualties.

Turkey's Hurriat news website wrote in its 'Urgent News' crawl section that the attack took place in Ganch region of Turkey's Bingol province due to a mine explosion.

Salim Kusshgar, the governor general of Bingol province said that the Ankara-Tehran passenger train, called the Trans Asia Train, has been attacked by the PKK terrorist group.

'A number of the train's wagons were damaged, but the explosion caused no human casualties and the train continued its procession,' he added.

According to Hurriat, the mine was exploded using a remote control device.

Still no group has accepted responsibility for the terrorist attack.

That is while unrests in Turkey following a suicidal attack of pro-Kurdish activists in Suruch in southern Turkey that left 31 people killed and some 100 more injured last week.

Dozens of Turkish police and military forces are among the incident's casualties.

During the same while, the Iran-Turkey gas exports pipeline, too, was exploded leading to a three day halt till it was mended and the Iranian gas exports to Turkey restarted.

During the course of the past week more than 1,300 opponents of the Turkish government and suspects of participation in terrorist operation in Turkey have been arrested in that country.

Meanwhile, the Turkish government launched air raid attacks against the PKK in northern Iraq and claimed it had also bombed Daesh terrorist in northern Syria, while it was made clear alter on that Ankara had instead bombed the Kurds who ware fighting against Daesh to strengthen Daesh terrorist's position against President Bashar Al Assad's central elected government.
