Tehran, July 28, IRAN � The Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah said relations with Iran were friendly based on good neighborly ties.

According to Oman News Agency, he made the remarks in a meeting with his visiting Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry.

He said his country enjoyed good relations with world countries including Iran.

He believed friendly relations between Iran and Oman would benefit the whole region.

Touching upon Yemeni crisis, he hoped the situation there settled through diplomatic ways and not military action.
