The nuclear deal Iran and world powers have signed amounts to an opportunity which should be seized to serve national interests, the chairman of the Expediency Council said Sunday.

Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani added, �During the negotiations, Iran did not deceive the other side, nor did it allow P5+1 to fleece it.�

Highlighting the importance of the Leader�s insightfulness and guidelines at all stages of the negotiations, Rafsanjani lashed out at destructive acts of those who only claim to support the Leader and said, �That some try to swim against the tide and oppose the policies of the establishment and the demand of the overwhelming majority of the public simply to land in the spotlight is political negligence and a glaring example of extremism.�
