Tehran, July 21, IRNA � Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi said Tuesday that holding talks with those who try to play tricks all the time is not simple.

Salehi made the remark at Majlis open session this morning to brief the parliamentarians on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The Iranian nation with the help of Islamic Revolution and the Supreme Leader's guidelines could reach the last station and gain nuclear achievements of which 'I'm proud,' said Salehi.

In today's challenging international interactions, this is the first time that a developing country (like Iran) could stand at a place of a developed country, noted Salehi.

He further appreciated the efforts already made by those who were responsible for holding negotiations with the six world powers.

About landmark nuclear agreement on July 14 in Vienna, Salehi said the negotiators could take bigger steps regarding technical issues in Vienna compared with those of Lausanne statement.

They said they should put obstacle to Iran's way to produce nuclear weapons; then, they imposed sanctions on the country, noted Salehi.

But, he added, Iran was not to take any steps towards nuclear weapons.

As the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a fatwa (Islamic decree) on the prohibition of nuclear weapons, it is not permitted by the Islamic law to produce and use weapons of mass destruction including nuclear weapons, stressed Salehi, a member of nuclear negotiating team.

So, Iran blocks any path to production of those weapons, reiterated he.

Iran and the six world powers- the US, UK, France, Russia China and Germany- reached a historic agreement on JCPOA on July 14 in Vienna, Austria.

The two sides reached an agreement to end the nuclear dispute going back to over a decade.
