Istanbul, July 17, IRNA � Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said here on Friday that the Iran-P5+1 nuclear agreement is a positive and important development.


Following participation in Eid Fitr prayers in Istanbul, Erdogan told reporters that he talked over phone with President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday during which in addition to felicitating Eid Fitr, 'We discussed nuclear issue, too', according to Dogan News Agency.

'We both believe that the agreement is very important for peace and stability in the region,' he added.

Erdogan also said that the agreement can help bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries to move forward.
