Moscow, July 16, IRNA — Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier says the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is a historic event.
In an article published in the Moscow-based Kommersant daily on Thursday, Steinmeier said the Vienna accord on Iran nuclear program is victory of rationality and political logic.
He said after several rounds of talks in Baghdad, Berlin, Brussels, Istanbul, Muscat, Moscow, New York, Almaty, Geneval, Lausanne and Vienna, for more than 10 years, progress was achieved at last and the negotiation parties managed to find a diplomatic solution to Iran nuclear problem.
He said the JCPOA will help consolidation of peace in the region.
He underlined using the experience to solve remaining Middle East problems.
