Moscow, July 16, IRNA Iran's Ambassador to Moscow, Mehdi Sanaee, said on Wednesday that the Vienna accord will lead to further expansion of Tehran-Moscow relations.
Talking to Russia 24 TV Channel on Wednesday, Sanaee thanked Russia for its contribution to achieve the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with G5+1 and said, 'As ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I thank Russia and China for the role they were playing to achieve the accord on Iran nuclear program.'
Sanaee said Russia not only played a positive role in the nuclear talks but also undertook a series of commitments on change of Fordu nuclear site and transfer of part of Iran enriched uranium abroad.
He said lift of anti-Iran sanctions will not adversely affect Iran-Russia economic and commercial cooperation, rather will promote and consolidate them in the future.
