The Zionist-dominated legislative branch in the United States will attempt to vote against the conclusion of nuclear talks between Iran and six world powers, an American activist and radio host in California says.

�Congress is dominated by the Zionist, Jewish lobby, by AIPAC specifically and other smaller splinter groups; Friends of Israel, etc, a whole lot of Jewish Zionist pressure groups,� said Rodney Martin, a former US Congressional staffer.

�The Zionist, Jewish-dominated Congress will do their dirty work and kill it by voting it down,� Martin said in a phone interview with Press TV on Friday.

�There�s a lot of money and a lot of resources the Jewish lobby is going to muster and marshal against this deal,� he added.

On Tuesday, Iran and the P5+1 group of world powers concluded talks on preparing the text of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) , which will put some limits on Iran�s nuclear program in exchange for the removal of sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

The text will, according to Iranian officials, be presented to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), which will adopt a resolution in seven to 10 days making the JCPOA an official document.

Observers say it is unclear at the moment what Congress could and would be able to do in terms of this agreement.

The agreement will still face scrutiny on Capitol Hill, which has 60 days to review the text of the JCPOA.
