Tehran, July 14, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday that Iran will abide by the agreement it signed with the G5+1 on condition that the other party reciprocates the action.

'Iranian nation has throughout history been faithful to any commitment, if any, to which it has been signatory; we will remain faithful to the agreement provided that the other party remains loyal to it,' said President in a live TV address following agreement between Iran and the G5+1.

He said that of course, the agreement has a number of phases. 'Today, it was the first phase: All the seven countries reached agreement on the text of the Comprehensive Joint Plan of Action (CJPOA) and the five appendixes , accepting that the next phase will be the coming days. The text of the agreement and also the text prepared for the UN Security Council should be enacted by the UN Security Council.'

He went on to say that the day of agreement is the day when both European Union and the US explicitly announced lifting of all sanctions and declared their decision and it is since then that Iran's actions start.

The president added that Iran's actions will coincide with the G5+1 concrete measures to lift sanctions.

It will take more than two months and the day the sanctions are lifted practically will be the day of enforcement of agreement, he added.

'This means, several months late will be the day of full implementation of the agreement... today is only one phase but the most important day in the past 12 years. Historically speaking, today marks the day when the big countries of the world and powers officially recognized Iran's nuclear activities; today, is the day that after lapse of 12 years, the world's powerful countries announced that they will help Iran in terms of modern technologies and advanced technologies. Today marks the day when the big powers announced that all sanctions will be lifted and all the tyrannical resolutions will be lifted and ordinary conditions will prevail on relations with Iran. Today is an end and a beginning. It is an end to all injustices and the wrong and unjust allegations against the great Iranian nation and a prelude to new phase of cooperation worldwide.'

He said not only in four corners of Iran but also in Gaza and the West Bank as well as in the Jordan river as well as people of Quds and Lebanon are happy with the agreement because all the vain efforts of the usurper Zionist regime in the course of 23 months are failed.'

He said today, the regional people are also happy because many of the vain pretexts for injustice and pressure on the region just on the pretext that Iran was to make nuclear bombs will end.

He added that real achievement is that new atmosphere prevails over the region for expansion of cooperation in the region and the world.

He then thanked all those having a role in such an important and historical day. He thanked the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution for his guidelines.

Elsewhere in his remarks, President Rouhani advised regional nations and neighboring states not to be deceived by the Zionist regime and ill wishers of the country. 'Iran's power belongs to you and we consider regional security as our own. We consider stability in regional countries as our own stability.'

He said development and scientific growth of Iran will be to the benefit of the neighbors and regional countries. 'Iran has not been and will neither be in the future for weapons of mass destruction. Iran is not for pressure on regional countries.'
