Araqchi hopeful about agreement but not tonight

Vienna, July 13, IRNA Whenever it is, it is not tonight or tomorrow night, top Iranian nuclear negotiator said Monday here while asked about the time of the nuclear agreement.

Abbas Araqchi told reporters that he is hopeful of reaching a comprehensive nuclear agreement, however.

The talks are close to final minutes, said Araqchi, adding the two sides have made good progress during the recent days.

But, he stressed, we cannot announce any agreement unless all the existing problems are removed.

To solve those problems, the two sides continued discussions till the early morning, said the senior nuclear negotiator.

Also, the negotiations will continue today, he added.

Representatives of Iran and the six world powers have been holding intensive talks to reach a comprehensive nuclear agreement on nuclear dispute that goes back to over a decade.

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali-Akbar Salehi told the Iranians' Nuclear Hope website on Sunday that the two sides have finished negotiations about the technical issues.
