TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Commander of Iran’s Navy Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said the country has gained such a high level of defensive power that its adversaries do not even dare to approach its borders.
“Iran is in a position that no enemy dares to pose a threat to or approach the Islamic Republic’s sea and land borders,” the Navy commander told Tasnim on Saturday.
Rear Admiral Sayyari made it clear that Iranian forces defend the country with “the maximum power” and are not intimidated by any threat.
Back in April, Army Commander Major General Ataollah Salehi had also emphasized that the country’s level of power and preparedness, saying that the response to any possible aggression by enemies would be strong and crushing.
Cautioning the enemies of dire consequences of possible military moves against Iran, the top general said, “Our response to any possible attack would be much more crushing than (Iran’s response during) the Sacred Defense (Iraqi imposed war on Iran in the 1980s).”
