Hezbollah chief: Iran careful in signing deal with G5+1

Beirut, July 10, IRNA Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Seyed Hassan Nasrallah underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran will never sign an agreement on its nuclear issue with the world powers that would benefit the Israeli regime.

Narsallah pointed to the Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen, and said, 'Attacking the oppressed Yemeni people is tantamount to serving the Zionist regime.'

He, meantime, reaffirmed the Lebanese resistance movements support for the Syrian fight against terrorism, saying that if Syria falls, so will Palestine.

Nasrallah made the remark during a speech on Friday to mark the International Quds Day, as designated by the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to the Saudi military strikes against Yemen, and said Arab Muslims have abandoned the people of Yemen.

The war against Yemen today is the biggest service Saudi Arabia can do to Israel, he said. And it is coming free of charge.

Israel, the mother of all terrorism, presents itself as a force fighting terrorism, Nasrallah said.

The Hezbollah leader said that, once Syria was plagued by conflict, the enemies focused on Iran and the resistance movement as the remaining greatest threats.

He said the resistance movement proudly poses a strategic threat to Israel, but has not reached a level to pose an existential treat to Israel.

Nasrallah said that Iran is the only country that, in the mind of the Israeli officials, poses an existential threat to Israel; thus, they seek to incite the entire world against the Islamic Republic.

He said the question must be asked why this complete enmity is being directed at Iran and not against Arab countries. Because, he said, Israel realized that Arab officials do nothing for the nation of Palestine and Gaza, a part of the Islamic Umma.

Are the Palestinians not Muslims? he asked.

Who is still raising the flag? Nasrallah asked. He, who is still raising the flag still standing on the front-line is the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Iranian government and people under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei will never recognize Israel, he said.

Despite the sanctions and threats of war against Iran and the media and psychological wars waged on Iran, the country is the only country that supports Palestine, he said.

If you want to support Palestine, you have to support the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Hezbollah leader said, and if you are an enemy of the Islamic Republic, you are an enemy of Palestine.

Any talk about a Shiite crescent is a lie by corrupt Arab officials, he said, adding that Iran is an ally of Arab countries.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he condemned the recent bombing in Shiite mosques in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

He said the bombing in Kuwait was meant to incite sectarian conflict in the country, but to no avail, as the countrys emir, government and scholars prevented such a scenario from playing out.

On June 26, at least 27 people lost their lives and 227 others sustained injuries when an explosion ripped through Imam Sadiq (PBUH) Mosque in al-Sawabir, a busy residential and shopping district of Kuwait City.

A bomber reportedly blew himself up in the mosque where worshipers had gathered for Friday prayers.

Later in the day, ISIL claimed responsibility for the assault. The ISIL terrorists had also carried out two bomb attacks at Shiite mosques in eastern Saudi Arabia a month earlier.

Nasrallah also touched on Lebanons domestic affairs, stressing that Hezbollah has no plans whatsoever to challenge the incumbent government, and plunge the entire country into political void.

Lebanon needs peace and coexistence. It has no room for elimination, exclusion or monopolization, and partnership is our destiny, the Hezbollah leader pointed out.
