The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) has conferred its 2015 Achievement Award on three Iranian specialists: Alireza Lasheyee, a faculty member of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences; Alireza Baradaran Rafiei from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences; and Mohammad Mehdi Parvaresh.

In another development, Hadi Parastar-Shahri, an assistant professor at Tehran�s Sharif University of Technology, won the best young scientist in chemometrics award for 2015.
