Iran sympathizes with Indonesia over deadly plane crash

Tehran, July 1, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham on Wednesday regretted the deadly crash of an Indonesian C-130 aircraft and sympathized with the Indonesian government and nation.

Afkham condoled with the bereaved families of the victims and prayed for souls of those who lost life in the air disaster.
An Indonesian military plane carrying 122 people crashed near a residential area shortly after takeoff in Medan, on the Indonesian island of Sumatra Tuesday.
Indonesian government said that all on board were found dead.
