China highlights progress in Iran nuclear talks

Vienna, Jun 30, IRNA -- China stressed progress has been made in the ongoing nuclear negotiation process between Iran and six world powers (the US, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany).

Speaking to the press at Vienna international airport upon his arrival, Deputy Chinese Foreign Minister Li Baodong said, 'I think that all parties are committed to negotiations and I think every side is serious about the date and we come here to strike a deal and see that were making progress.'

I think people have an objective and time-frame and I think the process is moving toward that goal, he added.

Nuclear talks are expected to go into overtime as the June 30 deadline for a final comprehensive nuclear agreement ends at midnight.
