Abu Dhabi, June 22, IRNA � Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks over the phone on Sunday evening, UAE official sources reported.

During the telephone conversation, the Crown Prince felicitated the Iranian President on the start of the holy month of Ramadan on June 18.

Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, wished prosperity and success for all Muslim nations including Iran and the United Arab Emirates.

The holy fasting month of Ramadan started in Iran on Thursday (June 18) and will last for 30 days this year.
