Khorramabad, Lorestan province, June 21, IRNA – Swedish ambassador to Iran Peter Tejler said on Sunday that Swedish private sector is keen on investment in Iran.
Peter Tejler made the remarks in a meeting with Lorestan governor general.
He said that in spite of sanctions, trade relations between the two countries are increasing and the Swedish businessmen are willing to develop economic cooperation with Iranian partners.
Tejler said that more than one percent of Swedish population is Iranian expatriates and their ability to communicate with the Swedish people are admirable.
He called for taking measures by the two governments to boost trade ties.
Contrary to the economic recession in Europe, Sweden is progressing rapidly and it will be a big industrial country in a near future.
He added that government has always supporting activities of private sector bringing success and economic development in Sweden.
Tejler is currently on a visit to Lorestan province for 2 days to consider opportunities and capacities of the province.
