Lavrov: Iran talks' result priority, not 'reading tea leaves' over deadline

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that speculating on the completion date of the negotiations is unnecessary as the result is more important than the date.

According tohim, the work is more important thanthe completion date and it should continue without reading tea leaves overhow long it will take.

The prospects ofending the talks toresolve the Iranian nuclear program indue time should be secondary incomparison toresolving the problem itself, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov onFriday, reports ministry offoreign affairs.

He further said that there is no need forguesswork right now. Everyone is working and doing everything tomake it happen. He added that the work should be done and that it is best not tofocus onwhether the negotiations date will have tobe extended or not.
