The Iran nuclear deal might be finalized before June 30, Russia's deputy foreign minister said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) � The foreign ministers of Iran and P5+1 group of international negotiators will hold a meeting on Tehran's nuclear program between June 25-30, the final date of the meeting could be announced Friday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"The most likely period for a ministerial meeting is starting on the 25th� There are less problems in round [of talks], and reaching the agreement before June 30 is possible," Ryabkov, who is also Russia's envoy to the negotiations, told reporters.
According to Ryabkov, the date for the ministerial talks is likely to be set today.

�We do not want long-term extensions of negotiations due to political reasons. I want to emphasize that it would be very wrong to reduce everything to tactical games and maneuvers in the negotiations,� Ryabkov told reporters.

According to Ryabkov, Russia is aware that politicians in a number of countries taking part in the talks get in the way of the negotiations by criticizing their progress.

�We support the Iranian officials� appeal to focus on the subject matter, rather than continuing tug of war between the delegations, which takes time.�

The P5+1 group (Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany) and Iran delegations are currently in Vienna ahead of the June 30 deadline for reaching a comprehensive agreement on Tehran's nuclear program, and talks are taking place in a "continuous mode."

The Russian deputy foreign minister pointed out that between five and seven issues still remain on the talks' agenda, which is fewer than the last week. International monitors' access to Iranian nuclear sites is one of them.
In April, as the sides signed a political framework deal, Iran agreed to cut back uranium enrichment and decrease its number of centrifuges in exchange for sanctions relief.
