TEHRAN (Tasnim) � Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived in Tehran on Wednesday for on official visit to discuss a range of issues, including joint efforts in the fight against terrorism.

In his second visit to Iran as Iraq�s premier, Abadi was welcomed by Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh.

A formal welcoming ceremony will take place at Tehran�s Sa�d Abad Palace.

In meetings with multiple ranking Iranian officials, Abadi is expected to discuss Tehran-Baghdad bilateral ties, the latest regional and international developments as well as the fight against terrorism.

The Iraqi prime minster paid his first official visit to Iran in October 2014.
