Tehran, June 15, IRNA � Head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Ala'eddin Boroujerdi said in Tehran on Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran will spare no efforts to support the government and nation of Syria.

Speaking to a group of Syrian political activists and personalities, Boroujerdi underlined Iran's continued all-out support for the Syrian government and nation in the face of invasion of terrorist groups.

He said, 'Definitely, the Islamic Republic of Iran will spare no efforts to support the Syrian government and nation.'

He lauded resistance and perseverance of the Syrian government and nation in long years of campaign against terrorism and said thanks God, the Syrian resistant nation has left behind ongoing difficult conditions and will be present in regional and global scenes more powerfully and more resolutely than ever.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Boroujerdi referred to resistance of the Iranian nation during the 8-year Iraqi imposed war and said, 'Like the past years, the Syrian nation will defeat its enemies through resistance.'
