Government committed to defend nuclear achievement: Veep

Tehran, June 16, IRNA - Government is committed to protect the nuclear achievements, First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Tuesday.

Speaking in a local ceremony, he told reporters that Tehran will do its best to defend the country's nuclear achievements in a logical away.

Inhumane sanctions have targeted Iranian common people's ordinary life and the country's developments, Jahangiri noted.

He added that the negotiating team has defended the country's rights with pride.

Iran is an advanced country in the field of engineering and technical services and is ready to transfer its experiences to the neighbouring countries, the official underlined.

Iran and the G5+1 are in talks to hammer out a lasting accord that would end more than a decade of impasse over Tehran's peaceful nuclear program.

On April 2, the two sides reached a framework nuclear agreement in Lausanne, Switzerland, with both sides committed to push for a final deal until the end of June.
