Europeans ready to invest in post-sanctions Iran

TEHRAN June 13(Shana)--Leading European financiers are ready to invest in Irans capital market once sanctions have been lifted, a member of Foreign Investment Committee of Securities and Exchange Corporation said.

Reza Soltanzadeh was speaking at the end of a visit to Tehran of a high-ranking delegation of European financiers.

He said the European investors visited Iran to get familiar with potentialities of capital market in Iran and big industrial companies listed on Tehran Stock Exchange.

A group of nine European companies were reported to have promised 300 million euro investment in Iran once sanctions have been lifted on Iran.
The chief executives of the European firms showed willingness for investment in Iran after they visited Tehran Stock Exchange.

The potential European investors visited Iran at the invitation of Swiss ACL Asset Management and Boursiran Stock Brokerage Company.
This delegation comprises the CEOs of leading investors from Britain, Switzerland, France and Russia.

As the July 1 deadline approaches for Iran and six world powers to reach a final nuclear deal on Tehrans nuclear program, there are hopeful signs for the lifting of sanctions imposed on Iran.
Soltanzadeh said the European CEOs hope that they would be able to invest in Iran after the end of sanctions.
