Tehran, June 9, The Iran Project � Iran will not allow any illegal rally against� women's presence�at male sporting events and those who violate it will face justice, says Government Spokesman Mohammad Bagher Nobakht in a press conference on Tuesday.


Answering a question about whether the government allows staging rallies against women�s entry into sporting arenas, Mohammad Bagher Nobakht said the government will not allow any illegal rally, stressing that those who do not act accordingly will be dealt with seriously.

A conservative group called on people to stage a �bloody protest� on June 19 to fight against women�s presence in sports stadiums.

Nobakht further noted that vice president for women and family affairs announced the news related to women�s presence in sporting clubs, and if necessary I will ask�her for explanations.
