Iran, G5+1 end talks, going to bilateral negotiations

Tehran, June 4, IRNA Iran and the G5+1 ended their talks in Vienna after 2.5 hours, starting bilateral talks.

Deputy Foreign Minister Abbass Araqchi and EU negotiator Helga Schmid were parties to the talks to study the procedure for writing the draft of comprehensive accord.

Firstly, Araqchi and Iran Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi will hold talks with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov after the general session, followed by separate meetings with Chinese senior negotiator Wang and three other European countries, being the G5+1 members.

Araqchi and Takht-Ravanchi have had five rounds of talks with Schmid in New York and Vienna for writing the comprehensive accord text. After the fifth round of talks, two rounds of talks were held between Iranian and US delegations, headed by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and his US counterpart John Kerry, in Geneva.

The expert team will also start work as of today.
