Assembly of Experts declare support for nuclear talks

Tehran, May 30, IRNA Members of Commission for socio-political affairs of the Assembly of Experts in their latest session held in Qom, declared their support for continuation of nuclear talks with G5+1.

The officials, during their meeting on Thursday, discussed latest developments in nuclear talks as well as regional and international developments.

They urged every body to avoid weakening the nuclear negotiating team.

Members of Commission for socio-political affairs of the Assembly of Experts stressed that everyone should follow the guidelines of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on nuclear talks with G5+1.

Iranian nuclear team headed by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and US nuclear team headed by US Secretary of State John Kerry discuss the latest developments in nuclear talks in Geneva on Saturday.

Iranian and P5+1 nuclear teams held three rounds of talks in Vienna as well as other separate talks in New York last Iranian calendar month (April-May) in order to draft the text of final comprehensive deal.

The two sides have set July 30 as the deadline for a final deal.
