Leader satisfied with Iran nuclear negotiators: Commander

Mashad, Khorasan Razavi Prov., May 28, IRNA Commander of Iran's Basij (volunteer) Force Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi said Thursday that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is fully satisfied with the conduct of nuclear talks and performance of Iranian negotiators.

Speaking to reporters in Mashad, the capital city of northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi, Naqdi said that Ayatollah Khamenei expects the members of Iranian nuclear negotiating team to insist on national interests and main principles of the Islamic system.

The US threats have lost their meaning and none of them are real threats, Naqdi said.

He said that the Supreme Leader and the Iranian nation expect the sanctions to be removed at once on the very first day of reaching a nuclear deal, adding that the redlines for the talks are determined by the Supreme Leader.

All the inspections have to be under the international regulations and no supervision beyond the internationally accepted norms will be allowed, said the commander.

Naqdi said that the nuclear deal on which Iran and the six world powers are working must be reversible so that if the other side fails to honor its commitments, Iran can annul the accord.
