TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the country opposes interview with its nuclear scientists.

“Interview with nuclear scientists has nothing to do with the negotiations,” he said.

He also referred to opposition of Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei against western countries’ demand for interview with Iranian nuclear scientists, and said the Islamic Republic is following views of Supreme Leader.

“Interview with nuclear scientist has nothing to do with the nuclear talks with G5+1 in principle. This is a trivial issue and Iran has been taking steps for 10 years to end these claims and excuses.”

He also continued that Western officials have already raised the issue of interview with the scientists, and reiterated that the Iranian nuclear negotiating team are following Supreme Leader’s view in the process of talks
