President upbeat with economic growth

Tabriz, East Azarbaijan prov, May 21, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said Thursday that his government has been successful to achieve economic growth and better relations with the outside world.

The president made the remarks in a press conference at the end of his visit to the northwestern province of East Azerbaijan.

‘I acknowledge that the government achieved economic growth and has been successful to develop better relations with the outside world.’

Rouhani touched upon Iran’s nuclear negotiations with the six world powers and said if the western governments dos not seek excessive demands, success in the area of nuclear talks is not out of reach.

Rouhani said that the government has prepared the ground for boosting relations with neighboring countries in scientific, economic, social and cultural areas.

He said that East Azarbaijan province, for its geographical position and neighborhood with Azerbaijan republic and Armenia can serve as a bridge between the Caucasus republics, Turkey and the central Asian countries.
