Tehran, May 22, IRNA � Tehran Temporary Prayer Leader Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said it is na�ve to think that a nuclear deal will help settle problems facing the Iranian nation.

Addressing congregational prayers on Friday during his second sermon, he said that nuclear issue is a significant one and it will be valuable to show any amount of resistance against world big powers.

Supposing that Iran accepted the nuclear deal, then it should deliver whatever it has and withdraw its stances, he said, noting that it will be plain to think that the move will help lift the sanctions and make the economy prosperous.

The US intends to continue its domineering policies and bring Iran's economy and politics under its control and take the helm of Majlis, judiciary and executive branch, Ayatollah Jannati said.

'The US intends to take revenge from revolutionary forces and behead them if it can,' he said.

The US is the same US that did not show mercy to anybody wherever it set step and demolished its opposition, he said, adding, 'Some do not understand this and say we should withdraw our nuclear position.'

Words of the individuals are not believable that say the country is not in a good economic and financial situation and has no choice but to accept nuclear deal, the prayer leader said, noting that they recommend something like submission.

Ayatollah Jannati said that such statements are not based on the three principles of people, God and their path, contending that going on with nuclear issue in such a hazardous situation needs these three principles.

The same God who liberated Khorramshar is still alive. The same God who made Iran victorious in the eight-year war is still here, he said.

The officials should believe in people and should know that the same people who showed resistance against problems in the course of revolution are still loyal to their Leader and Imam Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Jannati said.

They should think that the people cannot tolerate hardships and problems, he said.

Describing nuclear issue as an issue of life and death, Ayatollah Jannati said that most do not know which destination the settlement of the nuclear issue will mark for the country.

The Iranian nation are ready to embrace martyrdom and are not afraid of military action and economic siege, he said.
