Tehran, May 22, IRNA � A senior member of parliament said Iran is in a powerful position in nuclear negotiations.

Speaking to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi stressed that Iran's today position is much stronger than 10 years ago.

Iranian parliament is fully supervising the trend of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the G5+1.

'The parliament has an intelligent not a passive performance in nuclear issue, adding that the parliament is not seeking to hinder the actions of Iran nuclear negotiating team.

'As per the regulations, the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) inspections should surrender their reports to the nuclear watchdog, but the reports were appeared in the western mass media,' he added.

'Iran's stance on nuclear issues has been clearly stated by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei,' Boroujerdi said, underlying that nuclear negotiating team should obey the supreme leader's orders.

'Several Iranian scientists have been assassinated and we cannot allow the other side to identify individuals and sensitive sites,' he concluded.
