TEHRAN May 18(Shana)--Two new offshore rigs are to be added to the operating fleet of National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC), director of renovation and reconstruction and NIDC said.

Abdol-Ali Motahari said Fath-94 and Fath-95 rigs are being installed in location in order to undergo field tests.
Each rig is 2,000-horsepower and has five generators, three fluid pumps, top drive as well as advanced electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Motahari said NIDC plans to add at least five onshore rigs to its fleet to bring the total number of its fleet to 75, including three offshore.
